What we collect
When you request a roof inspection, we collect the contact and project details you provide: name, phone, email, ZIP code, project type, and optional notes.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to your inspection request, discuss storm damage, and coordinate next steps for roofing or exterior restoration.
Sharing
We do not sell lead information. We share specific data with the service providers required to operate the website and respond to your request:
- Lead webhook destination — your inspection request fields (name, phone, email, ZIP, project type, notes) are posted to our CRM / customer-tracking endpoint so our team can respond.
- Cloudflare Turnstile — bot-protection challenge on the form. Cloudflare sees your IP and a challenge token; we don't receive cookie data from Turnstile.
- Google Analytics 4 + Google Tag Manager — only after you accept cookies via the consent banner. Google receives standard page-view, device, and (if you submit a lead) basic conversion event data. We don't share name, phone, or email with Google.
- LiveAvatar AI assistant — the hero of this site embeds a live intake agent (Katya) from our AI provider LiveAvatar (api.liveavatar.com). When you start the conversation through the avatar's in-frame "Chat now" control, your conversation (text and audio) is processed by LiveAvatar and may be forwarded to our team for follow-up. See the AI assistant section below for the recording and transcription policy.
- Voice-agent phone webhook — if you call our AI phone line, the call transcript and audio recording may be captured and forwarded to our handoff endpoint for follow-up. See the AI assistant section below.
- Vercel — our hosting provider. Standard web request logs (IP, user-agent, requested URL) are processed for site delivery and security.
AI assistant — recording and transcription
The hero of this site embeds a live intake agent (Katya) from our AI provider LiveAvatar. The avatar loads on page render; the conversation begins only when you start it through the avatar's in-frame "Chat now" control. Once started, the conversation may be recorded and transcribed by LiveAvatar, and audio and transcripts may be forwarded to our team for follow-up so we can prepare your inspection. The AI assistant does not ask for SSN, full credit card numbers, or financial account numbers. You can stop the conversation at any time and use the phone line or the written inspection form instead.
If you call our AI phone line, the call audio and a transcript may also be captured and forwarded to our handoff endpoint for follow-up.
Phone, text, and SMS contact
When you submit the inspection request form, you consent to be contacted by phone, text, or email about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time. We do not send marketing texts without your explicit opt-in.
Your rights — Minnesota residents
Under the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act (MCDPA, effective 2025-07-31), Minnesota residents have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal data and access a copy.
- Correct inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
- Delete personal data we hold about you.
- Obtain a portable copy of the personal data you provided to us.
- Opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
To exercise these rights, contact Office@SmartConstructionMN.com. We respond within 45 days as required by MCDPA. We may request reasonable verification that you are the person whose data is the subject of the request.
Other states
California residents: under the CCPA / CPRA, you have the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising — Google Analytics + Tag Manager only load after you accept cookies, and our analytics configuration restricts ad-personalization signals. Contact Office@SmartConstructionMN.com for any CCPA request, or use the "Manage cookie consent" link in the footer to revoke analytics consent.
Children's privacy: this website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact Office@SmartConstructionMN.com and we will delete it.
